Overview
Step into a relaxed, creative space and reconnect with the simple act of drawing from life
This Life Drawing Session is a guided studio experience designed for self-development, observation, and creative exploration—not a taught class. A tutor will be present to facilitate the session and provide light guidance where needed, but the focus is on your own practice, process, and personal expression.
Working from a live model, you’ll be encouraged to slow down, look more deeply, and explore line, form, gesture, and tone in a way that feels natural and individual to you. There are no set outcomes—just time, space, and the freedom to draw without pressure.
Suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced artists looking to loosen up and reconnect with their practice.
Come as you are, draw as you like, and enjoy the quiet focus of creating alongside others.

Why Kids (and Parents) Love Paper Rock Scissors!
At Paper Rock Scissors, our art classes are thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and support every young artist on their journey.
Small Classes, Big Impact - We keep our class sizes capped at just 10 kids to make sure everyone feels included, has space to express themselves, and gets plenty of individual attention.
Personalised Support - Once the creative energy is flowing, we work one-on-one with each child to guide them through their project, offering tips, encouragement, and support along the way.
Expertly Designed by an Experienced Educator- Our workshops are crafted by a qualified Visual Arts Teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience — so your child is in capable, caring hands.
Explore All Kinds of Creativity- From clay sculpting and printmaking to drawing, painting, collage, design, and even large-scale installations — kids get to explore a wide range of mediums and techniques.
Skill Building that Goes Beyond the Art Table-We focus on teaching real artistic skills, because mastering techniques builds confidence, fuels motivation, and supports flexible thinking and emotional wellbeing.
Whether your child is a passionate artist or just loves getting messy and trying something new, Paper Rock Scissors is the perfect place to create, connect, and grow.
